Our Newest Opportunity: The Retirement Operations Intern offers a hands-on learning experience at the intersection of retirement plan consulting, data analytics, and financial technology. This internship is ideal for a student who is curious about the retirement industry and eager to learn how data, technology, and client service intersect to deliver value to financial advisors, plan sponsors and participants.

  • Learn and explore the Salesforce CRM platform, including understanding how it supports client, plan, and advisor workflows across the national Retirement Services business.
  • Perform data analysis and clean-up tasks, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across key lead, opportunities, account, and plan, fields.
  • Support ongoing initiatives to standardize data structures and improve reporting quality for business intelligence dashboards and operational insights.
  • Partner with internal teams to document data processes and field definitions, supporting future training and adoption.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and project updates to gain exposure to the inner workings of a leading national retirement advisory firm.
  • Contribute to special projects such as CRM automation testing, advisor data validation, or plan segmentation analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word and Teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus, but training will be provided.
