Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories is seeking a dedicated Retirement and Financial Guidance Partner to provide personalized support and guidance to employee owners on retirement programs, financial wellness resources, and select total rewards offerings. This role helps team members understand and navigate key retirement benefits, including the 401k, ESOP, and international retirement plans, as well as prepare for and transition into retirement. The position also supports components of compensation and total rewards programs and contributes to the development of initiatives that enhance the overall employee experience. This role serves as an internal retirement and financial guidance partner, working closely with benefits and compensation team members, Human Resources partners, and external service providers, while focusing exclusively on supporting SEL employees. As a Retirement and Financial Guidance Partner, a typical day might include: Serving as a visible and trusted retirement and financial wellness resource who helps employees navigate programs and make confident, informed decisions Supporting employee owners with retirement and total rewards questions ranging from simple to complex through email, phone, virtual meetings, and in person consultations Applying strong knowledge of retirement funds, plan structures, and regulatory requirements to support accurate administration and clear employee education Supporting retirement plan administration by coordinating with internal partners and external plan vendors Designing and delivering education and engagement initiatives such as workshops, group sessions, and one on one conversations Leading and contributing to strategic projects that strengthen retirement, financial wellness, and total rewards programs This job might be for you if you: Hold a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience supporting retirement plans, employee benefits, or total rewards Have coursework or demonstrated experience in retirement planning, employee benefits, financial planning, or compensation Are passionate about helping people understand complex information and feel confident about their financial future Approach challenges with curiosity and optimism, viewing them as opportunities to learn and improve programs It would be a plus if you have: Certified Financial Planner CFP Certified Benefits Professional CBP Certified Compensation Professional CCP Other retirement plan or financial wellness related certifications Location Information: Pullman, WA- This position is located in Pullman, WA. Salary Range Data We anticipate filling this position as a Human Resources Partner $76,000 - $112,000 per year. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. Our pay ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
