About The Position

The Retirement Advisor at INTRUST Bank is responsible for providing expert advice to retirement participants, implementing the NestEgg U employee communication plan, and conducting group meetings. This role emphasizes teamwork, client relationship building, and maintaining confidentiality while promoting INTRUST's character qualities. The advisor will also assist in designing and implementing educational initiatives for clients.

Requirements

  • College degree preferred or at least 3 - 5 years of previous financial planning and/or investment management experience including direct contact with retirement plan clients and/or individual participants.
  • Client-centered focus with self-motivation and team player attitude.
  • Knowledge and understanding of retirement plans and individual financial planning.
  • Ability to use good judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of customer service.
  • Excellent client consultative and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong sales orientation and a passion for putting clients first.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with individual financial planning and retirement income strategies.
  • Professional designations such as CFP®, CRPS, AIF, CPFA.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice in specialty areas for Retirement participants, including Advise U and other financial planning curriculum as part of NestEgg U.
  • Implement the NestEgg U employee communication plan for a designated group of clients.
  • Schedule, prepare, and conduct group meetings and Advise U meetings as required.
  • Provide customized education services to larger clients.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of future web and seminar initiatives.
  • Promote an environment of teamwork within the department and across the bank.
  • Represent INTRUST Bank in the community and focus on developing new business relationships.
  • Maintain strict standards of confidentiality.
