Requirements

  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience within machine operations and a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to work within a team environment.
  • Read and understand product prints, procedures, and specifications.
  • Good record-keeping skills.
  • Good organizational and task-oriented skills.
  • Must have high school-level math skills.
  • Must have basic computer skills
  • The ability to stand throughout the entire
  • The ability to lift up to 40 lbs. per box into the
  • Must be able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds from waist to shoulder height up to 25 times per
  • Good visual acuity for detailed work. Near vision must be 20/30.
  • Must be able to work in both un-air-conditioned and air-conditioned, well-ventilated work environments

Responsibilities

  • Performs complete setup and operation of the Retina Vision sorting machines, including minor routine maintenance, monitoring, and adjustments.
  • Lifts bins of parts from skids to hoppers, and will also use a scoop for full bins.
  • Conducts visual inspection of every bin, looking for bad plating and mixed parts.
  • Fills out associated paperwork.
  • Sets up and runs automatic bagging equipment.
  • Adjust or reset machine settings as necessary.
  • Ensures bag and box labels are correct and reflect the information on the lot assignment sheets.
  • Places packaged product in the warehouse accurately.
  • Must be able to work effectively and efficiently with limited supervision.
  • Detects and reports discrepancies to secondary team leaders regarding parts, counts, or orders.
  • Collaborates closely with secondary team leaders and counterparts to transmit and exchange information pertinent to the work at hand between shifts.
  • Able to interpret blueprints and locate products in the product catalogs.
  • Observes all safety regulations in all duties.
  • Performs other duties as required.
