About the position

As the Retention Specialist at Vuori, you’ll support the execution of email and SMS strategies that build meaningful customer relationships and drive retention. You’ll collaborate with all areas of Marketing, Retail, Technology, International, Merch Planning, and external partners to deliver cohesive, on-brand, and performance-driven communications across owned channels. This role is a strong foundation for future growth in CRM, digital marketing, or eCommerce, offering hands-on experience in high-impact programs at a fast-growing brand. Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key member of the retention team, supporting the execution of email and SMS campaigns that drive customer engagement and retention
  • Execute lifecycle marketing tests (e.g., A/B testing, segmentation strategies) to improve campaign performance and deepen customer relationships
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, copy, site merchandising, and acquisition to ensure brand consistency and alignment across channels
  • Assist in QA, testing, and deployment of campaigns within ESP and SMS platforms
  • Track and analyze performance metrics, providing regular reporting and insights to inform ongoing strategy
  • Coordinate campaign assets and timelines in partnership with the creative/copy team and project management
  • Support cross-functional marketing initiatives to ensure timely and accurate execution of retention tactics
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of projects
  • Build and schedule email campaigns within ESP
  • Partner with the creative team on copy, asset coordination, and layout direction
  • Pull post-send performance reports to identify trends and insights
  • Manage day-to-day tasks and team workflows using project management tools like Asana to ensure timely, organized execution
  • Assist with Retention marketing tests, reporting, and initiatives as needed
  • Draft and deploy SMS campaigns aligned with calendar and brand tone
  • Monitor performance metrics and support optimization strategies

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in retention, CRM, or email/SMS marketing, ideally within eCommerce or retail
  • Working knowledge of Klaviyo (or similar ESP) and SMS platforms
  • Experience using project management tools such as Asana to track tasks and collaborate across teams
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • High-level understanding of analytics and reporting
  • Excellent written communication and proofreading ability
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Familiarity with Shopify or similar CMS platforms a plus
