About The Position

The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate programs focused on new employee training and onboarding. The role involves assisting new employees in the activities of the processing departments to achieve goals related to customer satisfaction, safety, quality, and yield. Additionally, the position aims to reduce employee absenteeism and turnover, particularly for those with less than 90 days of employment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2 years' experience in a comparable role.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to teach and coach others.
  • Possess patience.

Responsibilities

  • Assists new employees on the Production floor to support their transition into their new role.
  • Tracks skills improvement to meet certification levels for new hires.
  • Monitors absenteeism of new hires and contacts them if absent.
  • Leads the new hire onboarding program by presenting in orientation and providing translation as needed.
  • Assists in roundtable meetings and activities directed by the Complex Human Resources Manager and Employee Relations Manager to improve retention and turnover.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
