As a Warehouse Associate and Delivery Driver, the incumbent will be responsible for receiving and placing inventory into stock, picking, and packing orders for delivery, timely and accurate delivery and/or pickup of goods to specified locations, loading and unloading trucks and trailers, warehouse housekeeping, and inventory control. The incumbent will succeed in this position if they are self-starter and organized. Previous warehouse experience, maintenance experience, and/or delivery experience preferred. The primary job duties and responsibilities of the Retail Warehouse Delivery Driver include but are not limited to the following: Load and unload trucks in an accurate and efficient manner Drive a Box Truck and become familiar with delivery routes Must maintain a clean driving record General labor, job requires the ability to lift heavier loads including large pots and furniture Perform warehouse duties which includes materials handling, shipping, and receiving, picking and packing orders Tagging and Back Stocking inventory Assisting the warehouse associate with maintaining warehouse cleanliness Processing daily transfers Processing receiving of new shipments Basic computer skills and usage, email Thompson + Hanson requires the minimum amount of school for this position (High School diploma or GED) with at least six months of related experience and/or training or a combination of education and experience. The Warehouse Delivery Driver is required to walk, sit, stoop, squat, climb, bend and twist their bodies constantly in order to load and unload materials, products and various items to and from locations in a truck. On occasions the incumbent will be required to sit for long periods of time driving to multiple locations while stuck in traffic.
