OVERVIEW We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Retail Video Editing Intern to join our Retail Education & Experience team. This role will support the editing, organization, and distribution of video content used for retail training. The intern will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to help bring learning content to life through engaging and high-quality video assets. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The 8-week Alo internship programs starts June 8th and ends July 31st. Interns will be working 40 hours a week at our Beverly Hills HQ.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Media, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in retail preferred.
- Genuine interest in fashion, trends, and brand storytelling is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist with editing and assembling video content for retail training initiatives including but not limited to Tik Tok-style education videos.
- Support the organization and management of project files and finalized assets.
- Collaborate with the Retail Education & Experience team to craft scripts and content aligned with learning objectives.
- Assist with basic motion graphics, captions, or visual enhancements as needed.
- Provide administrative support to the Retail Experience & Education team.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving content and workflow.
