About The Position

As a Trade/Channel Marketing Manager for Kidde, you will support collaboration, consolidation, and commercialization of key operating rhythms that flow from upstream parts of the organization (product, brand, supply chain, pricing, etc.) to sales. This position requires a motivated self-starting person with experience in go-to-market strategies in home improvement retail, club, big box, and e-commerce distribution channels. This position will also be responsible for supporting new business opportunities and new product development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in channel management.
  • 5+ years of experience in planning and executing planograms, promotions, and customer specific projects, including product line reviews and new product introductions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and tactical recommendations both online and in-store on product, distribution, planogramming, and merchandising to improve category performance.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and Product Management) to ensure the successful introduction of new products within retail channels.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing on new business development opportunities by creating tailored channel programs, promotional materials, and partner onboarding strategies that drive pipeline growth and accelerate market entry.
  • Support Sr. Manager with national and account level promotions, ensuring accurate execution across channels.
  • Design and maintain planograms to optimize product placement, improve category flow, and maximize sales performance while ensuring alignment with Kidde and retailer strategies.
  • Coordinate brand, media, and product initiatives with customers, including displays, signage, and packaging.
  • Be the voice of the customer with internal teams.
