About The Position

The Retail Team Member Production position at Goodwill North Central Texas involves processing donated and purchased items for distribution to the sales floor. The role requires adherence to the POS Solutions Inventory System processes and meeting established production quotas. Responsibilities include sorting, hanging, and categorizing merchandise such as textiles, shoes, and electrical/mechanical items for grading and pricing using a computer grading system. The team member will maintain current work batches and production data, and should have knowledge of Kaizen practices for continuous improvement. The position also involves using material handling equipment to transport and sort donations, ensuring the overall appearance of the work area, and performing cleaning functions as necessary. Open availability is preferred as the store operates seven days a week from 8 AM to 7 PM.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a work or educational setting demonstrating the ability to interact positively with the public.
• Proficiency in basic math.
• Ability to read and write.
• Experience operating computerized equipment (POS Solutions Inventory System, grading and pricing system).
• Ability to make pricing decisions based on product quality.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and associates.

Nice To Haves

• One year of customer service experience dealing with the public.
