About The Position

We are seeking a Retail Team Leader to become an important part of our team! Requirements

  • At least two years of prior retail sales experience, with opening/closing responsibilities preferred
  • Demonstrated ability in use of cash register and affiliated duties (giving correct change, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Opening and/or closing the store, ensuring store is open during the posted hours of operations; safe, office, and outer doors are locked upon leaving the building; paperwork is done accurately, etc.
  • Oversee store operations in absence of manager and assistant manager and report to them any issues that arise
  • Train and evaluate store employees and/or persons served when applicable
  • May be called upon to correct EBT errors
  • Count down cash drawers
  • Ensure all cash, deposits, and cash drawers are place in safe and that safe door is closed and locked
  • Accept donated items in a safe, courteous, and efficient manner per store guidelines
  • Process donated items to produce inventory for sales floor
  • Follow store procedures for sales floor cashiering, customer service, merchandise handling, and upkeep
