About The Position

Our mission is to Change Lives through the Power of Work! The Retail Team Leader will assist store management with the execution of daily operations of a retail store, excluding personnel issues. This role involves overseeing general operations, including the acquisition, display, and sale of merchandise, as well as performing administrative and clerical duties related to store operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one year experience in retail operations required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist store management with daily operations of the retail store.
  • Oversee general operations including acquisition, display, and sale of merchandise.
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties of store operations.
  • Provide sales reports and accurate retail information on a timely basis.
  • Oversee all personnel, clients, and volunteers assigned to the retail store.
  • Direct training for staff and volunteers.
  • Enforce store procedures and GIWM policies on a day-to-day basis.
  • Ensure grounds and building are properly maintained.
  • Report need for repairs and recommend replacements as necessary.
  • Enhance security and loss prevention measures.
  • Ensure safety compliance for all OSHA/MIOSHA requirements and GIWM safety regulations.
  • Perform job functions of a Lead Cashier and Retail Associate as required.
