About The Position

As part of the New Balance retail leadership team, the part-time Retail Team Lead assists with duties such as opening/closing the store, driving results and delivering a world class experience for our guests. You will lead by example through New Balance’s Core Competencies. Serves as a part-time retail team leader Functions as an extension of Store Management, assisting with duties like opening/closing the store, interviewing candidates, and training new hires. On the sales floor they lead by example, demonstrating exceptional customer service and brand representation.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • 2 years’ retail supervisory experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational experience
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of a thriving retail business, which may entail working on weekends and holidays
  • Ability to: lift 4 lbs. frequently ; lift maximum 8 lbs. occasionally; kneel or squat frequently ; move boxes of product up to 50 lbs (with assistance if necessary); stand for extended periods of time; climb ladders occasionally; climb and descend stairs frequently (depending on location)
