About The Position

The Retail Supervisor supervises Retail Sales Floor activities to ensure that goals are met. This position will serve, at times, as the 'Supervisor in Charge' of the entire facility. The supervisor is responsible for assuring a high level of guest and donor service and must ensure that Easterseals-Goodwill policies and procedures are uniformly enforced and followed. Cross-training is required in all aspects of Goodwill. The supervisor performs duties according to the established Best Practices of ESGW and must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Requirements

• Sensitive to guest needs and wishes.
• Ability to work effectively with people with disabilities or other special needs preferred.
• Must have computer experience and be competent in internet use and a variety of computer software applications.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, monetary, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language to communicate with staff and guests.
• Completion of a background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Retail Sales Floor activities to ensure goals are met.
• Serve as 'Supervisor in Charge' of the entire facility when required.
• Ensure high levels of guest and donor service.
• Enforce Easterseals-Goodwill policies and procedures.
• Cross-train in all aspects of Goodwill operations.
• Respond to changing and unpredictable circumstances regarding donations and retail operations.
• Show initiative to accomplish tasks and be prepared to move between assignments as priorities change.
