About The Position

The Retail Supervisor supports the store leadership team by delivering strong brand and customer experiences, driving sales, and maintaining a welcoming retail environment. They manage daily operations, including product management, merchandising, education, back-of-house tasks, and marketing execution. They also open and close the store, provide clear team direction, and uphold high operational standards. When the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is absent, the Retail Supervisor leads the team, ensures smooth operations, and motivates staff. They model excellent performance, give constructive feedback, and promote a positive, inclusive workplace.

Requirements

Prior management experience required.
Retail sales or customer service experience preferred, especially in specialty or outdoor categories.
Enthusiasm for outdoor activities and the active California lifestyle.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be 18 or older.
Flexible availability to adapt to changing business needs and schedules.

Handle customer and staff concerns professionally and make informed decisions following prAna guidelines.
Complete opening and closing duties, maintain safety and security standards, and help keep the store clean and organized.
Build strong product knowledge and share it with customers.
