About The Position

As the Retail Supervisor, you will oversee the retail dining services operation and ensure client expectations are met. You will manage staff, control food production, and maintain high service standards in a fiscally responsible manner, working collaboratively with the dining services team.

Responsibilities

Supervise, train, and evaluate retail staff, handling scheduling, performance appraisals, and discipline.
Oversee student worker supervision and involvement, fostering engagement and accountability.
Provide training and onboarding support to ensure smooth integration of new team members.
Coordinate retail sales activities, forecast food needs, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with budgetary controls.
Support retail operations including concessions and grab-and-go services.
Assist with Pete’s Coffee shop operations and ensure service standards are met.
Maintain food presentation standards and ensure cleanliness and safety in retail areas.
Support short order cooking and ensure food quality aligns with expectations.
Plan marketing initiatives, maintain customer satisfaction, and analyze operational performance.
Act as a communication and relationships expert to enhance team dynamics and customer engagement.
Assist with menu development, vendor selection, and ensure retail equipment is properly maintained.
