About The Position

The Retail Supervisor is responsible for providing excellent customer service, driving retail sales and assisting with oversight of the retail associates. This is a position of support to the Retail Manager to help ensure there is always a retail leadership presence in our shops and that our guests always have an extra resource for questions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service or retail
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with guests, team members, and managers
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of math
  • Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to sit or stand for a long period of time
  • Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle or golf cart
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced and demanding guest service environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide five-star shopping experience for our guest through superior customer service, product knowledge, maintaining sales floor standards, restocking sales floor
  • Assist Retail Manager to drive sales to reach budgeted goals
  • Oversee a team of Retail Associates along with Retail Manager
  • Assist Retail Manager in writing department schedule
  • Assist guests with phone purchases, in-shop purchases and shipping orders
  • Independently fulfill day to day shop operation requirements
  • Lead corporate gifting efforts throughout the year, but especially through the holiday season
  • Have solid computer skills and various software knowledge: POS, Inventory systems, Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Run monthly inventories – oversee initial counts and follow up with discrepancies, work with Retail Manager and Retail Buyer to troubleshoot any issues
  • Assist with special event set up and sales
  • Merchandising and floor sets of product in shops, especially with seasonal changes
  • Must work well with corporate leadership – flexible, open-minded, solution seeking and always in the pursuit of doing what is best for the department
  • Excellent communication skills among guests, team members and with other departments
  • Maintain shop checklists, restocks, standard operating procedures so that they are up to date and accurate
  • Check in and out new merchandise if needed and work with warehouse team on any discrepancies
  • Train new team members on policies and procedures
  • Ensuring that regularly and accurate shop restocks are happening
  • Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance is required.
  • Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers, and interact with our guests.
  • Must have the flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
