The Retail Supervisor position involves dynamic leadership, motivating staff to exceed customer and client expectations, and ensuring the team is set for optimal operation, including integrating new members, supervising, developing, and coaching personnel. This role requires adherence to applicable laws, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, upholding company policies, and delivering exceptional guest service. Key responsibilities also include supporting inventory control, managing cash handling procedures, overseeing the floor team, promoting a positive attitude, merchandising products to maximize sales, fulfilling guest needs efficiently, and resolving complaints. The supervisor is also responsible for managing employee breaks and hours in compliance with labor laws, achieving sales goals, and implementing daily check-ins and performance notes. Additionally, the role supports the unit's sustainability and conservation efforts and drives community engagement through hiring and giving back initiatives, while fostering an inclusive and supportive team environment.
