About The Position

As a Retail Supervisor at Columbia Sportswear Company, you will play a vital role in the Store Leadership Team, assisting the Store Manager in the effective operation of the store. Your primary responsibilities will include providing leadership and direction to associate-level team members, driving sales, and ensuring excellent customer service. You will help create memorable consumer experiences while supporting the company's mission of connecting active people with their passions.

Requirements

• No specific education required (High School Diploma or GED preferred).
• 2-5 years of experience in a similar position or specialization.
• Skill in operating Inventory and Point of Sales (POS) systems and various retail software tools.
• Ability to use judgment to identify and resolve day-to-day technical and operational problems.
• Effective communication skills to exchange ideas and information with the store leadership team, associates, and consumers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day work of associate level staff, providing training, coaching, and direction.
• Ensure associates complete tasks, process shipments, recover and replenish the sales floor, and serve consumers.
• Supervise and oversee the assigned department of responsibility.
• Ensure efficient and accurate cash register transactions and connect consumers to loyalty programs.
• Collaborate with store leadership to ensure compliance with company policies and resolve any issues.
• Create and maintain a store culture of teamwork and demonstrate company values.
