About The Position
As a store Supervisor at Total Wine & More, you will play a crucial role in supporting the store management team to uphold the brand's reputation by delivering exceptional service, selection, and value to our customers. Your responsibilities will include overseeing cashiers, stock associates, and sales associates, and acting as the Manager-on-duty in the absence of the store manager. This position requires you to be actively involved in promoting Total Wine & More's products and services, and you may also serve in a team member capacity to assist the merchandiser/stock associates and cashiers. You will report directly to the store management team, and your contributions will help create an engaging and knowledgeable retail environment. In this role, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service by greeting customers and establishing relationships while informing them about our diverse range of products and services. You will foster a sales-focused environment through the development and training of team members, ensuring that they are equipped to meet customer needs effectively. Additionally, you will assist in opening and closing the store, maintaining operational standards, and overseeing cashier, merchandising, and sales floor activities. Participation in wine, spirits, and beer training will be essential to familiarize yourself with Total Wine & More's offerings, enabling you to provide informed recommendations to customers. Maintaining store safety and cleanliness standards across all areas, including the sales floor, stock room, lockers, kitchen, and bathrooms, will also be part of your responsibilities.
