Requirements

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year experience in an office setting highly preferred.
• 1 year experience, or one or more post-secondary level related coursework or competency demonstrated in therapeutic diet knowledge required.
• 2 years food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and modifying patient menus including therapeutic modifications per established guidelines for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Arranging for late meals and snacks.
• Processing requested items, patient complaints, and unit requests.
• Using typical equipment such as computers, phones, printers, and faxes.
• Demonstrating excellent interpersonal communication skills and attention to detail.
