As a Retail Supervisor, you will contribute to the Goodwill mission by leading our retail stores and donation sites to achieve their overall goals. Your responsibilities will include opening and closing the store, managing register efficiency, achieving daily production goals, providing excellent customer service, and developing associates. You will work together with your team to achieve sales and production goals that make your store successful. This role requires you to use your experience and skills to train, motivate, and lead our associates to create a customer-centric store and donation environment. In this position, you will implement strategies to achieve the goals for the organization and retail store operations. You will be responsible for project and change management, problem-solving, and community engagement. You will also maximize the value of all donated goods and maintain production and store environment standards. Your role will involve coordinating the proper rotation of goods in the store, supporting the training and coaching of all employees, and assisting with the hiring process of associates. Additionally, you will function as a service experience leader, maintain a safe and orderly work environment, and ensure employees operate equipment safely and follow safe work practices.
