About The Position

The Retail Supervisor plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service within a hospitality-focused retail environment. This position is responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere by greeting guests warmly and addressing their needs promptly, processing transactions, maintain the overall clealiness and organization of the store, and coach team members to do the same. The role is expected to contribute to a positive and productive team environment by communicating effectively with colleagues and supporting other team members as needed. Additionally, the Retail Supervisor supports operational efficiency through effective scheduling and inventory control, ensuring that the retail space is well-stocked and staffed appropriately. Ultimately, this position aims to foster customer satisfaction and loyalty by combining excellent interpersonal skills with strong organizational capabilities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or retail role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory control and scheduling practices.
  • Comfortable with basic math and the use of electronic devices, such as cash registers and scanners.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a hospitality or food service environment.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and retail software.
  • Certification or coursework related to hospitality management or customer service.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Bilingual abilities to assist a diverse customer base.
  • Strong Organizational Skills and attention to details
  • Ability to life and carry up to 25 pounds, stand for extended periods, and climb ladders to reach products or displays.

Responsibilities

  • Sets an example for the team, Greeting and engaging guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Encourages Team Members to be familiar with products, speak to what is in stock, and upsell guests
  • Assist in scheduling shifts and coordinating team activities to maintain optimal staffing levels
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, including restocking merchandise and reporting discrepancies.
  • Support daily retail operations to ensure a clean, organized, and inviting environment for guests.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures, included safety and security measures.
