About The Position

Ensures the Viejas guest service experience for guests by maintaining the standards at all times. Adheres to company and departmental policies and standard operating procedures, and applicable governmental laws and regulations. Hires, trains, and schedules front desk staff in accordance to business demands and budget. Coaches and counsels staff to uphold policies. Provides excellent customer service and monitors guest feedback through the use of comment cards and other customer care techniques. Supervises and follows up on guest requests and comments. Submits all paperwork and financial reporting. Supervises effective daily operations including opening and closing procedures and ensures retail store merchandise is shelved and stocked. Performs other duties assigned. Approves weekly inventory of store merchandise, prepares reorder forms. Directs team members for daily preparation of merchandise and displays in their respective stores. Requirements

  • High school diploma or General education degree (GED).
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in hospitality industry, preferably in sales capacity.
  • Creative in marketing and promotion, sales oriented.
  • Effective leadership skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Efficient, well organized, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and motivational.
  • Professional manner, discretion, and appearance.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Must be flexible to work different shifts, evenings, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in area of hospitality, exercise science, health education, business or related field.
  • Experience with professional spa services and treatments preferred.
  • Experience with event planning preferred.
