About The Position

Profitably lead and manage a retail store location, including sales, merchandising, inventory, facility image, personnel, and planning.

Requirements

  • 5 years of retail experience.
  • 2 years of retail management experience.
  • College degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises Administrative Specialist, Salesperson, Cashier, Warehouser, Area Specialist, Grooming Department, Receiving Department, and other store positions.
  • Manage store personnel including staff selection, training, mentoring, coaching, and evaluating employees.
  • Oversee location sales and customer service using established retail customer service standards.
  • Facilitate store location inventory productivity.
  • Manage and maintain store facility and location equipment using established retail image standards.
  • Direct location merchandise management including receiving, merchandising, and selling of products utilizing procedures established by retail administration.
  • Manage daily store sales, bookkeeping responsibility, local expense approval, monitor and act on daily reports, inventory, and other computer or manual practices.
  • Participate as a member of the retail management team.
  • Plan and execute annual operating budgets for the store location including sales and margin projections and expense control.
  • Lead and participate in regular and special meetings.
  • Participate in special project work when requested. And other responsibilities and/or tasks as assigned.
