Requirements

  • Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in automotive parts, aftermarket sales, or a related industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing and motivating sales teams.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of automotive parts and accessories, including features, specifications, and compatibility
  • Experience in inventory management, including ordering, replenishment, pricing accuracy, and merchandising
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze sales data, control costs, and drive profitability
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills to effectively interact with customers, employees, and vendors
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, ensuring operational efficiency and high customer satisfaction
  • Proficiency in point-of-sale systems, parts databases, and retail management software
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and team-lift up to 100 lbs.
  • Flexibility to work store hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow between sales, service, and inventory management
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a results-driven sales team to maximize performance and customer satisfaction
  • Set clear expectations for performance, conduct regular coaching sessions, and provide ongoing training on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, motivation, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards, holding staff accountable for execution
  • Drive sales through strategic merchandising, suggestive selling techniques, and in-depth product knowledge to promote parts, accessories, and services
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, including sales targets, labor efficiency, and warranty performance, taking proactive steps to optimize results
  • Enhance brand visibility through social media, community outreach, and promotional efforts
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by handling escalations and implementing solutions to improve the shopping experience
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels through effective ordering, cycle counts, and replenishment strategies to ensure product availability and minimize shrinkage
  • Ensure service tickets, pricing accuracy, and final invoices are audited for consistency and compliance
  • Collaborate with the Service Manager to align store and service department goals, ensuring seamless coordination
  • Monitor and manage store budgets, expenses, and financial reports to ensure operational efficiency and cost control
  • Identify opportunities for increasing sales and implementing promotional strategies to enhance store performance
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, cash handling procedures, and safety standards
