About The Position

Savage Retail is looking for a Retail Store Manager for our store at Woodward Mall in Detroit, MI The Store Manager will report directly to the Senior Store Manager or VP of Retail and serve as a key leader responsible for driving overall store performance, team development, and customer experience. As a Store Manager you are responsible for building a fearless, confident, and inclusive team that will bring the Savage x Fenty experience to our first IRL locations! In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Store Manager to uphold the values and culture of our organization as we establish our retail fleet presence across the country. You are passionate about developing talent and creating a best-in-class employee environment while delivering an exceptional and one-of-a-kind customer experience

Requirements

Retail Experience: 5-7 years in retail with 2-3 years in a leadership role.
A flexible and reliable schedule; You will be scheduled to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate vision and purpose clearly.
Ability to lead through ambiguity while leading multiple initiatives.
Tech-savvy or strong comfort around technology as component of daily responsibilities.
An organizational powerhouse with a strong sense of urgency, stellar time management skills and an acuteattention to detail.
Dynamic leader with a proven track record of culture building, talent development and succession planning. You identify, nurture, and develop talent in a fast moving and ever-changing retail environment.
Self-directed and highly motivated to take ownership of tasks to ensure solutions.
Ability to socially interact with Customers, Employees and Business Partners inside and outside of the store environment.
Ability to work with large teams setting personal and professional goals for themselves and others.
Familiar with Excel, Outlook, and retail inventory and POS systems.
The ability to multi-task, set priorities, and work well under pressure.
This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours.
May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.

Deliver a dynamic and meaningful customer journey supported by impactful visuals and technology that is elevated by a highly engaged store team.
Drive daily, weekly, and monthly financial results by establishing strategic plans in partnership with the Senior Store Manager to achieve successful business outcomes.
Responsible for the strategy used by Store Leadership to recruit, hire, onboard and engage store employees with an experience that echoes our brand philosophy.
Ensure accountability and appropriate management of all day-to-day operational procedures, financial targets, and company policy standards in store.
Drive the store customer service strategy to deliver a best-in-class omni shopping experience to our VIP members and guests centered around inclusivity, innovation, and community outreach.
Uphold the visual merchandising and styling standards ensuring product presentation aligns with the brand experience.
Oversee the store team’s care and maintenance of in-store technology.
Maintains a safe and clean store environment in accordance with company policies and safety standards.
Maintains cleanliness and organization of the store, including sales floor, stockroom, and common areas.
Additional duties may be assigned in accordance with business or operational needs.
