As a Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, ensuring that your team delivers an exceptional customer experience while achieving the desired business results. Your primary focus will be on managerial tasks, which include leading and managing a team, holding them accountable for their performance, and ensuring that the store is prepared to meet customer expectations. You will be expected to plan and communicate workload activities and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure that your team executes their responsibilities effectively and within budget. Non-managerial tasks, such as cashiering and stocking shelves, will take up minimal time in your role. In this position, you will lead and manage the store's adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You will be responsible for delivering on sales and profit plans, managing the store team to achieve their individual KPIs, and executing the company's customer brand promises. Additionally, you will implement and lead shrink and safety programs to meet established goals. Your role will also involve staffing the store with qualified team members, which includes hiring, training, observing, and coaching staff to achieve results. You will lead the performance management process and, if necessary, the disciplinary process, while identifying talent and developing team members for advancement. As a role model, you will interact with others in a respectful manner, promoting commitment to the organization's vision and values. You will serve as the Manager on Duty (MOD) and maintain an operational understanding of all store departments, ensuring that all managers are cross-trained in custom framing selling and production. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
