About The Position

The Retail Leader at Goodwill Industries Manasota Inc. is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while fostering a team culture of learning and empowerment. This role involves training and supervising team members, managing store operations, and ensuring effective stewardship of donations. The Retail Leader will work closely with the Store Manager to achieve operational goals and maintain a positive work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of two years of management or supervisory experience in a retail environment preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Must be willing and able to work days, evenings, and weekends
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class customer service to all internal and external customers
• Partner with the Store Manager to train, develop, supervise, and evaluate team members
• Train to master all aspects of the Goodwill donated retail goods process
• Support the operations of the store with necessary activities such as cash handling, inventory control, processing and rotation of donated goods, and loading of trucks
• Build team schedules and manage payroll
• Manage good stewardship of donations and oversee budgeted expenses to revenue ratios and donor value
