About The Position
The position at Michaels involves maintaining a high standard of overall look and feel of the store, which includes ensuring cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver the Brand Promises. The role requires delivering friendly customer service, assisting customers in shopping, and helping them find what they're looking for. Responsibilities include collecting and disposing of trash, dusting and mopping floors, moving equipment and products for proper cleaning, and deep cleaning key areas of the store such as bathrooms and breakrooms. The position also involves maintaining cleaning equipment, seeking out areas requiring cleaning, and completing tasks assigned by the supervisor while adhering to federal, state, and county guidelines. Positive interactions with team members and customers are essential, as well as projecting a positive image and serving as a role model for other team members.
