About The Position
Selkirk Sport is hiring a part-time Retail Store Associate for our Boise location. You’ll help customers find the right pickleball gear, run in-store demos, and lead beginner clinics. If you enjoy retail, thrive on engaging with people, and love pickleball, we want to hear from you.
Requirements
- Retail or customer service experience (preferred)
- Strong communication and people skills
- Passion for pickleball — playing, coaching, or teaching a plus
- Comfortable leading demos and clinics on court
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and some evenings
Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers with paddles, apparel, and accessories
- Process purchases accurately and efficiently
- Keep the store clean, organized, and inviting
- Showcase Selkirk paddles and gear in-store or on the court
- Explain product features and performance benefits
- Lead short training sessions for new players
- Teach basic shots, rules, and court etiquette
- Restock shelves, manage inventory, and set up product displays
- Handle opening and closing duties
- Help with local clinics, tournaments, and store-hosted events
- Connect with local pickleball groups and promote upcoming activities
