About The Position

The Retail Store Associate I is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while adhering to all food safety requirements. People are at the heart of everything we do. An environment that allows you to focus on what truly matters: Starting Rate: $16.33hr The store is open 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday (Saturday 8am to 12pm) Would be working up to 40 hours a week. Your role in achieving results: Greet customers entering the establishment, contributing to a positive guest experience by exceeding their expectations and preparing orders to their specifications. Maintain an orderly and clean check out area. Run the cash register; receiving payment by cash, check, or credit card and issuing receipts, refunds, or change as needed. Perform reconciliation of cash drawer, ensuring amounts are correct and that adequate change is available. Maintain adequate stocking of shelves, cleanliness, and organization of work area throughout the day. Price products. Prepare and distribute sampling products to customers. Accurately and efficiently prepare orders to customer specifications. Cook and prepare food items per our standards of quality, consistency and timelines. Work in the deli making cheese trays, pizzas and bagging product. Ensure compliance with all health code requirements and organization standards. Operate equipment safely as determined by organization safety standards. Take farm orders. Maintain store keys as needed. Maintain food storage, receiving, stocking & rotating per food safety and company standards. Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices. Safety Protocol Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures. Correct or report any observed safety hazards. Support safety policies and programs. What we are looking for to deliver these results: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience in a retail and/or food safety environment preferred. Ability to obtain a local Liquor Operator’s License. Dedication to meet the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; acts with customers in mind. Basic computer operational skills. Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Excellent telephone and oral communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative team environment. Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work.
