The Store Administrative Assistant at DICK'S Sporting Goods plays a vital role in supporting the Store Management team by handling various administrative tasks. This position focuses on maintaining store documentation, managing electronic communications, ensuring program compliance, and overseeing recordkeeping. The assistant will also help with payroll administration and employee records, contributing to a positive and inclusive store environment.

  • Provide administrative support to the Store Management team.
  • Assist managers with store reporting and recordkeeping maintenance.
  • Monitor store communication systems and ensure appropriate dissemination of information.
  • Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll administration under manager guidance.
  • Oversee employee records and files, including time and attendance records.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety and loss prevention.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all Company information.
  • Create an inclusive in-store environment for teammates and customers.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
  • Prior retail administrative experience preferred.
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift items weighing 15 to 35 lbs occasionally (up to 5 times per hour).
  • Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
