Job Summary The Stockroom Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all back-of-house operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and stock organization. This role provides leadership and direction to stockroom associates, ensuring efficient workflow, accurate inventory management, and compliance with safety and company standards. The Stockroom Supervisor works closely with store leadership to support sales floor replenishment, merchandising execution, and maintain stockroom operations.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1–2 years of retail experience, preferably in inventory or warehouse operations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, POS systems, inventory software).

Nice To Haves

  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage incoming and outgoing shipments, including inspecting deliveries, preparing documentation, and coordinating with carriers.
  • Conduct daily and weekly audits, monitor shrinkage, and prepare for cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Partner with store and department leaders to ensure timely replenishment of merchandise and execution of visual merchandising plans.
  • Ensure all stockroom operations comply with OSHA standards, company policies, and legal requirements. Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Ensure proper use, care, and maintenance of stockroom equipment, tools, and machinery.
  • Organize stock by category, size, and priority to maintain an efficient back-of-house system that supports the sales floor.
  • Provide direct assistance during peak periods, promotions, and store events.
  • Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report them for reimbursements and record-keeping
  • Ensure all shipments adhere to relevant legal and safety regulations
  • Assist with store transfers, returns, and damaged goods documentation.
  • Maintain safety and compliance with OSHA standards in the back-of-house areas.
