About The Position

The Retail Stocking Team Supervisor at Burlington Stores plays a crucial role in the store leadership team, overseeing the Back of House operations. Requirements

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience within an off-price, big box, or specialty environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more, as well as the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression process including receiving deliveries, unloading and sorting cartons, processing merchandise, and flowing goods to the sales floor.
• Ensure back of house cleanliness, set-up, and organization are at standard.
• Reinforce company Asset Protection strategies to eliminate shortage.
• Promote safety for customers and associates by adhering to company guidelines.
• Cultivate a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration.
• Drive associate compliance with company policies and standards.
• Direct associates and manage workload effectively.
• Accountability for team productivity results and merchandise protection.
• Coach associates in the moment and provide recognition.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
• Drive Community Relations participation through company programs and partnerships.
• Coordinate meal and break periods and monitor schedule adherence.
