About The Position

The stand lead is responsible for both transactional level interaction with guests by providing a customer service experience that exceeds the customer's expectations, as well as basic supervisory responsibilities for a location within a venue on event day, or day-to-day staff management. They will perform several day-to-day tasks related to standard retail operations, staff oversight, and additional tasks as assigned by the management team.

Requirements

  • Lift and transport up to 50 lbs
  • Frequently reach, lift, stoop, bend and clean to maintain store area
  • Walk and stand during entire shift
  • Able to communicate effectively with managers, guests and teammates by speaking and comprehending English
  • English reading, writing and math skills required
  • Possible job hazards include but are not limited to: slips, trips, falls, burns, cuts and strains

Responsibilities

  • Complete steps of service to ensure utmost guest satisfaction
  • Describe product offerings, packaging/presentation, inventory, and pricing
  • Establish rapport with guests/members
  • Drive sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge
  • Exceed guest expectations
  • Adhere to location appearance guidelines (checklist)
  • Ensure all product is displayed and merchandised appropriately
  • Respond to guest needs and requests
  • Coach teammates on best practices and develop staff in accordance with best retail practices
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager
  • Ensure employees are following all applicable rules and regulations, as well as state laws, with regards to services, breaks, and best practices
  • Provide leadership within a given area of the operation and communicates needs and challenges with management as appropriate
  • Teach employees best practices as it relates to store standards on service and controls
  • Identify areas of opportunity with staff and coaches appropriately
  • Ensure highest levels and standards are met
  • Follow tenders handling checkout guidelines
  • Accurately use POS system
  • Employ good safety and sanitation practices
  • Practice proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment
  • Ensure all employees are following Levy Core principals by holding themselves and others accountable for store and service standards
  • Communicate guest issues to management
  • Adhere to Levy company guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbook
  • Manage and control floor inventory and product offerings
  • Complete all assigned paperwork including checklists, inventory forms, transfer forms, and other paperwork as assigned
  • Knowledgeable of Retail Cloud POS system
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager
