About The Position
The Retail Solar Consultant (RSC) role is a full-time position at The Home Depot, where consultants earn $17.50 per hour plus commission. The weekly schedule consists of 5 six-hour shifts, with options for either Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday. One weekend shift is required due to high customer traffic on those days. Training occurs in three locations: the headquarters in Biddeford, Maine, field training in neighborhoods, and at The Home Depot locations. RSCs will learn how to effectively pitch solar products to homeowners and handle common inquiries.
