The Retail Shift Lead at Pet Food Express is responsible for coaching customers and leading Sales Associates in daily retail operations.   • Participate in and lead daily training and continuous educational programs.
  • Stay updated on new products and share knowledge with the team.
  • Lead Sales Associates through store opening and closing procedures.
  • Operate the cash register efficiently and friendly.
  • Oversee the unloading of shipments and restocking of products.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and visual standards.
  • Support a culture of honesty and awareness of loss prevention.
  • A passion for pets and people.
  • Leadership experience, preferably in a retail setting.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the company.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Must be able to lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds safely.
  • Ability to climb and balance using a ladder or step stool.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stretch, and engage in repetitive motions throughout the shift.
  • Pet retail experience is a plus.
