Summary/ Objective We are seeking energetic, self-motivated, and team-oriented individuals to join our hardworking and dedicated retail team. The ideal candidate excels in a fast-paced environment, can handle multiple tasks and objectives, and enjoys working closely and effectively with fellow team members. We are looking for people who care about the details and value a clean, organized, and safe work environment. The successful candidate will enjoy collaborating with others to achieve goals and be able to work independently when needed. You will be responsible for servicing customers, handling money, and representing our bakery as the face of the business.

Handle a knife properly
Works safely with hot liquids and toasters/ovens

Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with the aid of a co-worker
High school or equivalent (Required)
Customer Service: 3 years (Preferred)
Prior experience as a shift lead for at least one year is highly desirable

Responsibilities

Ensuring Store/Facility Closure: Locking up or securing the premises at the end of the shift.
Turning off lights, equipment, and ensuring everything is secure.
Cleaning and Maintenance: Cleaning work areas, restrooms, or common areas.
Checking for any maintenance issues that need addressing before closing.
Ensuring the work environment is tidy for the next shift or opening.
Handling Financials: Counting cash drawers or registers, preparing deposits if necessary.
Closing out the register or completing end-of-day sales reports.
Reconciling inventory or ensuring proper stock levels.
Customer Service: Take all customer orders clearly and communicate with other staff when needed.
Assembles all food orders promptly according to recipe guidelines and standards.
Assisting customers who arrive near closing time, ensuring they are helped promptly.
Resolving any last-minute customer issues or complaints before closing.
Other related duties as assigned.
Preparing for the Next Day: Restocking shelves or preparing orders that need to be processed for the next shift.
Reviewing inventory levels or making notes for the opening team.
Team Supervision: Leading or assisting a team of employees to ensure tasks are completed before closing.
Checking that all employees have finished their duties, completed their required breaks, and clocked out on time.
