About The Position
The Retail Service Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in various aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, and maintaining the store's appearance. This position is essential for ensuring that the store runs smoothly and efficiently, particularly in the absence of the Assistant or Store Manager, where the Retail Service Specialist will assume shift management responsibilities. The role requires a proactive approach to customer service, ensuring that all team members are engaged in providing excellent service to both retail and professional customers. In this position, the Retail Service Specialist will lead the store team in executing customer service programs effectively. This includes supervising the customer service levels in the retail showroom and ensuring that all team members are adhering to the company's customer service policies. The Specialist will also be responsible for managing various operational tasks, such as processing online orders, handling special orders, and ensuring that customer returns and exchanges are conducted efficiently and accurately. Additionally, the Specialist will oversee the invoicing of merchandise and ensure that all operational procedures are followed, including communication of important messages and delegation of merchandising tasks. The Retail Service Specialist will also perform essential store opening and closing duties, which include securing the store, managing cash deposits, and ensuring the safety of the premises. This role is vital for maintaining the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the store's operations, contributing to a positive shopping experience for customers and a productive work environment for team members.
