About The Position

Securitas is hiring immediately for security officers for all shifts to keep our clients site safe in Salem, NH! Whether you are just starting your career or in retirement Securitas is a GREAT choice! Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. No experience necessary! If you have retail, food service or hospitality industry background you are a great fit for this role; if not, we will provide you with the training and everything you need for a great introduction to a career in the security industry.

Requirements

Strong customer service skills and professionalism
Ability to obtain NH Guard Card (includes a $40 application fee) - we will assist you in applying for this upon accepting an offer of employment!
Walking/standing for long periods of time
Willingness to be outside in all types of weather for patrolling purposes
Valid driver's license and CLEAN driving record
Comfortable operating a company vehicle during mobile patrols
Ability to ride a bicycle
At least 18 years old
