About The Position

Part-Time Retail Security Officer - Kittery, Maine Schedule: Part-Time, Thursday 10:30 am - 6:30 pm, and Friday 12:30 pm - 8:30 pm Option to transition from Part-Time to Full-Time if additional shifts are available! Starting Pay $19.50/hour · Security experience not required! · Growth Opportunity available! · Strong Customer Service skills REQUIRED! · Our Security Officers work closely with our clients and client staff. Requirements

At least 18 years of age.
Reliable means of communication and transportation.
Legal right to work in the United States.
Ability to effectively speak, read and write English.
MUST have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Ability to complete all pre-employment requirements prior to starting.
Excellent observational and de-escalation skills; able to remain calm under pressure.
Strong communication skills and comfortable with engaging in difficult conversations.
Committed to ethical practices and following all safety protocols, always maintaining a safe and respectful approach.
Basic to moderate computer skills required.
MUST be comfortable standing and walking for long periods of time in a retail setting.

Nice To Haves

Robust experience in customer service, law enforcement, security, and/or military roles are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to client facilities.
Perform regular patrols in a retail mall setting to ensure the safety and security of assigned areas.
Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, including medical, fire, and other incidents.
Enforce security protocols, policies, and procedures.
Prepare and submit detailed incident and daily activity reports.
Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and emergency personnel.
Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and clients.
Conduct inspections and maintain equipment as required.
Assist in risk assessments and proactive measures to enhance security.
