This position provides security detail as outlined in the post orders and requires establishing working relationships with customers, local law enforcement, and fire departments. Security personnel must always perform job duties with a constant awareness of surroundings, noting all activity in the assigned area. Security Officers are expected to maintain a professional image and demonstrate excellent customer service. Basic functions include controlling entrances and the movement of pedestrian and vehicle traffic, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting material and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and handling special assignments.
