About The Position
As a Retail Scan Associate at ScanScape, you will play a crucial role in collecting data that influences the shopping experience across various retail environments. Your primary responsibility will be to scan barcodes of products in grocery stores, convenience stores, drug stores, and mass merchandise stores. This data collection is essential for assessing, comparing, and improving the performance of both the products and the stores themselves. You will be working part-time, with flexible hours that can be tailored to fit your schedule, allowing for a balance between work and personal commitments. In this position, you will utilize a downloadable app on your personal device to scan barcodes in numerous locations throughout each store. The amount of time you spend scanning will vary based on the size of the store and the specific project requirements, averaging between 2 to 20 hours per week. You will also be responsible for inventorying specific products, which is critical to the data we deliver to our clients. This role offers workplace independence, job consistency, and some physical activity, making it an excellent opportunity for those looking to engage in retail without the traditional constraints of a full-time position.
