About The Position
The Retail Scan Associate plays a crucial role in enhancing the shopping experience by providing essential data through in-store data collection at various local retailers. This part-time position involves working with major brand retailers such as Walmart, Kroger, Target, and Albertsons, as well as smaller independent stores. Associates will be responsible for scanning barcodes using a downloadable app on their personal devices, which will require them to visit assigned grocery, convenience, drug, and mass merchandise stores on a weekly basis. The hours worked can vary from 2 to 20 hours per week, depending on the size of the store and the specific project requirements. In this role, Retail Scan Associates will not only scan barcodes but also inventory certain products within the store. This data collection is critical for the company to deliver accurate information to its clients.
