About The Position
As a Retail Scan Associate at Circana, you will play a vital role in collecting data that influences the shopping experience. Your primary responsibility will be to scan barcodes for products in various retail environments, including grocery stores, convenience stores, and pet stores. This data collection is essential for assessing, comparing, and improving the performance of both the products and the stores themselves. You will be working part-time, with the flexibility to choose your hours based on your schedule, allowing for a balance between work and personal commitments. In this position, you will utilize a downloadable app on your personal device to scan barcodes in numerous locations throughout each store. The amount of time you spend scanning will vary, averaging between 2 to 20 hours per week, depending on the size of the store and the specific project requirements. Your work will involve not only scanning but also inventorying certain products within the store. This role requires dependability and a quality-driven approach, as the data you collect is critical to the insights we deliver to our clients, which include major retailers like Walmart, Kroger, and Target, as well as smaller independent stores.
