About The Position

Retail sales staff are responsible for providing excellent customer service from the moment guests enter the store. They will build rapport with customers, make purchasing recommendations to guests, and provide an excellent experience. They will aid in keeping the sales floor and back room clean, well-stocked and organized. Fudpucker's Beachside Bar & Grill, celebrating its 43rd Anniversary, is a historical landmark in Destin. The company has a strong culture of employee development through constructive training, focusing on life skills. They offer an advanced training program in the hospitality industry, drawing on a partner's background as an Army Green Beret and experience in restaurant-theming. Requirements

Familiarity with POS (point of sale) systems and the ability to learn new technologies.
Excellent communication skills.
Cheerful working attitude.
Outstanding customer service skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Must possess excellent customer service skills including pleasant and friendly demeanor.
Must be able to communicate with customers, management, and staff.
Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations.
Open availability.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service from the moment guests enter the store.
Build rapport with customers.
Make purchasing recommendations to guests.
Provide an excellent experience to guests.
Aid in keeping the sales floor and back room clean, well-stocked and organized.
Perform suggestive selling.
Maintain awareness of current policies, procedures and sales or promotions going on within the store.
Be knowledgeable about Fudpucker’s history, menu offerings, specials, promotions, entertainment schedules, and other matters about which guests may inquire upon.
Communicate with management regarding customer observations and/or criticisms about Fudpucker's products and services.
Recognize and report security concerns or issues.
