The Retail Sales and Service Representative (SSR) at TruVista Communications serves as a vital point of contact for both existing and prospective customers at the TruVista Retail Center. This role involves engaging with customers through various channels, including face-to-face interactions and telephone communications, to promote and sell a comprehensive range of TruVista's products and services. These offerings include high-speed internet, IPTV, telephone services, wireless services, and home security and automation solutions. The SSR is responsible for executing customer sales and providing customer service related to new service orders, service additions and upgrades, bill payments, billing adjustments, delinquent accounts, and service changes. All customer sales and account management activities are conducted using a computer and TruVista's customer support system software. In this position, the SSR will actively market and solicit the sale of new or additional services, acting as the initial point of contact for customers seeking sales, service, and support. The representative will guide customers in selecting the appropriate TruVista services, including cellular service options in partnership with AT&T in specific markets. Responsibilities also include providing detailed descriptions of services and pricing tailored to customer needs, initiating contact with customers, and performing necessary follow-ups to address inquiries and resolve issues. The SSR will be expected to attend sales meetings and training sessions to remain informed about the latest product offerings, pricing developments, and market trends. Additionally, the SSR will handle cash and check payments for current and past-due bills, ensuring compliance with TruVista's cash handling policies. This includes filling out contract forms, determining service charges, collecting deposits, and preparing change of address records. The role requires the ability to edit and post adjustments to customer billing, investigate service connection order issues, and take appropriate actions to resolve them. Meeting or exceeding assigned sales objectives and quotas is a key performance indicator for this position, along with maintaining consistent attendance and punctuality in the workplace.
