About The Position

We are seeking a Retail Sales Representative to manage a high-volume Greater Boston / Southern NH territory, with a strong focus on ShopRite, Stop & Shop, and Big Y locations. Our client is a privately owned food sales and marketing firm serving Metro NY, Connecticut, Boston, and Philadelphia for over 30 years. They represent leading brands across meat, deli, dairy, bakery, grocery, and frozen departments in major regional supermarket chains. Position Overview This is a field-based role responsible for managing approximately 200 assigned stores. You will build relationships with department managers and buyers, drive distribution and displays, and ensure strong in-store execution. This role reports to the Retail Lead and requires weekly virtual team meetings via Microsoft Teams.

Requirements

  • Experience working with supermarket chains in meat, deli, dairy, grocery, bakery, or frozen
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced field environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and retail reporting tools
  • Professional, resilient, and solutions-oriented
  • Reliable transportation required

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular in-store visits within assigned territory
  • Build and maintain relationships with store management and department heads
  • Present new items and secure distribution
  • Upsell products, displays, POS materials, and promotional programs
  • Execute retail audits and track performance using GoSpotCheck
  • Communicate opportunities, issues, and follow-ups to management and principals
  • Support business strategy and volume goals across accounts
  • Participate in ride-alongs with principals and team members as needed
