About The Position
Gallo is seeking a dynamic Retail Sales Representative to join our team in New Jersey. This position will be based in Elizabeth, NJ and requires regular travel within your assigned territory, with occasional travel to company sites as needed. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and creativity, representing our distributor products to retail establishments. You will be responsible for conducting distributor business within your assigned territory, ensuring that sales targets are met through effective calls, conducting tastings at customer locations, and maintaining pricing structures to stay ahead of the market. Your entrepreneurial spirit and ability to listen to retail decision makers will be crucial in achieving and maintaining 100% distribution in every account. You will also manage accounts receivable, inventory, and ensure product rotation to maintain optimal stock levels. Accuracy and timeliness in maintaining route cards, account records, and providing daily sales reports will be key. Safety is a priority, and you will be responsible for understanding and ensuring quality, environmental, and safety compliance standards are met.
